RAP#8 – A FEINT HEART NEVER WON A FAT PURSE
There are many other ways of describing this Rap: ‘NO GUTS, NO GLORY’, ‘NOTHING VENTURED, NOTHING WON’, but the message is the same…every now and then you have to take a risk in life.
Back in ’97, I decided to start a production company in Indonesia. Everyone thought I was bonkers. It was risky, no doubt. But my gut feeling was simple; there were 240 million people 3 hours north of where I lived in Western Australia, a state of 1 million people. I reckoned it was worth a shot. And I loved the Indonesian people. Well, it was wonderfully successful and I cherish some of the best life memories during that time. As always, do your homework before taking that leap. Enjoy.
