Covid has forced us all to be creative.

This production originating in Perth, for a Melbourne client and filmed in Brisbane, was a classic, creative case in point.

With myself as director, my amazing producer Troy Zafer from ZacCreative and guru Creative Director Andrew Tinning all directing proceedings from my dining room in Perth.

Three thousand four hundred and something kilometres away in a Simonds display home in the outskirts of Brisbane was a crew of fifteen odd (no they weren’t odd – bloody talented team, they were) and the talented Shelley Craft.

With a combination of QTake, a nifty IT thingy that takes the picture out of the camera, tosses it up into a cloud, then on to my desktop computer on my dining room table. Along with my laptop with Zoom, enabling me to communicate with the DoP, Art Director and Shelley.

It worked a treat.
